About Me

adopt your own virtual pet!
I'm shy when I first meet people, but after the uncomfortable part is over with I'm affectionate and playful. Depending on the person, the uncomfortable period can last for as long as a few months or as short as a few minutes. Once you're my friend, I'll do pretty much anything for you, though my soft heart gets me in trouble sometimes. I am a lot like the wolves I write about -- innately curious, fiercely loyal, warm-hearted and sensitive. I have my faults, though, and my bark is in no way worse than my bite.
I ♥ my boyfriend Matt because he taught me to believe in storybook romances and fairytale encounters, because he makes every day a good day no matter how bad it might seem in medias res, because he's nothing like what I'd grown used to, because he's so much more than I dreamed possible, because he's the perfect blend of gentleman, flirt, sweetheart, dork, and snugglebunny, because he's one of a kind, because we understand each other, because we make each other happy, because we practiced, and just because he's my favoritest specialest most wonderfulest one and only Matt[chu].

Twenty-two is no great milestone in terms of what I am allowed to do.  But I find that it is a milestone in terms of what I have learned. I've learned that it's okay to reconcile my past with ...
