The Depot

About Me

The Depot formed at the beginning 2007, on the East coast near the fine city of Norwich. Early shows in the Norfolk and Suffolk area created a lot of local interest, quickly building a strong live reputation, and continuing musically to go from strength to strength, recording their first demo EP in Autumn 2007. Powerful pop with plenty of hooks and melodies combine to create a distinctive sound, and establish them instantly with an exciting live act and memorable songs They came to a wider public attention supporting Echo and the Bunnymen at Gig in the Park festival August 2007, and after continuous gigging, ended the year with a showcase and interviews on three local Radio stations, the highlight, however, being headline slot at the legendary Marquee club in Soho, London in December 2007. 'TOKYO' - BBC INTRODUCING Radio Norfolk Record of the Week 26th May 2008. With continued radio interest and bigger venue dates being added, their recent debut at The Waterfront, Norwich in August 2008 saw them enjoy a lively sell out crowd.
