If you like it hard and fast... then welcome to the world of Kill Deville. This Southern California group of four came out in late 2003. Our styles include a taste of old and new school sounds. Bold basslines, fast drum beats, heavy guitars, and aggressive vocals that have a sick sence that most can relate to. Kill Deville has been commented to have a new sound that resemble acts such as D.R.I. and Guttermouth. As for fans and venues, they have always supported us for being professional and fun.
Currently we are continuing to write new material as current events unfold. As in the summer of 2004 Kill Deville recorded a 12 track CD with a few favirits of our to introduce our new sound to the music world. Although, not all material was recorded due to a favorable decision by the band. We only provide quality music to be distributed. We have taken a few songs to make promotional Cd's to be given away for promoting purposes at the bands expense. We believe you can never promote enough. Also for internet users, we have created a website and a Myspace account for friends and fans to keep up to date and in touch with us for feedback, new music, and show dates.
James Mullin and Turtle McGinnis have been making music together for 10 years through many side projects. Daniel Morris has an impressive talent for the upright bass and guitar. his music theory studies have been a big part of song writing structures. Joel Davidson is a unique indivisual in his own sick way. Coming from a history of theatrical perfomances, no crowd can intimidate him. He knows how to work a crowd by keeping their attention in somewhat of an unorthodox manner. We formed this band in hope to bring back the fun to our scene. These days, it has become so serious and most of the bands do what society tells them to do. We rebel by keeping it real about who we are, where we come from and what we stand for.
We have played with many big names in our scene such as The Exploited, Agent Orange, and Guttermouth. Kill Deville plays a minimum of 100 shows a year or more if time and touring allows it. It's our passion for music that fuels the fire to produce a single purpose, reality. All material is based on true facts of life that millions of lost souls can relate to. We plan to continue touring as far as we can the ensure the would will be aware of our product that is known as, Kill Deville
