This has been a great year for electronic music with so many good releases is many genres, without all the plodding boring crap that's been hapenning the past few years. This set is a combination of electro, techno, progressive house and trance. It starts off with Chris Lakes fantastic electro remix of Mark Ronsons Oh My God. As the vocal stabs and ambience disappear into the superbly produced Joel Mull track the vibe takes off from there. I think you will enjoy this set.

This set was recorded at Fancy Fridays @ Club Energie. It was an eclectic night with many different styles being played. I played a mix of prog house, trance, and techno including a lot of old school stuff. DJ Quiana played some great techno. Thee-O followed up with an electro dominated set. Later in the night DJ Poogie Bear put down some hard house and techno. There were some other great DJ's but I didn't get to see them all.

I've added this set to the front page because it's been getting a good response from people who have found it on other sites. This is a classic set of trance, psy, and minimal techno mid-90's style. This mix is based on a set from Paul Oakenfold from 96 from the old GU Boxed Mix Tape series.
