Chango Rey And His Reymen

The story of Chango Rey and His Reymen begins as such. As you know it we used to be called Chango Rey Y El Moreno, we no longer have Moreno with us and we will get to that story in a bit. Let’s start, in the beginning, Chango Rey and El Moreno got together because of their current bands at the time was not satisfying our music output. Here is the introduction:
Chango Rey, vocal, guitarist and songwriter, A.K.A Rene Romero born into this world of Ritchie Valens and Rolling Stones, writing music is one his hard hidden talents which he has been doing for over a decade. His first band “Disco Cholos” then “The Snots” with Hollering Brownbird Rudy Relic, and “Fifty On Their Heels” Junior Metro. “We were really into pissing off people, learned about G.G. Allin and other outrageous acts, it was fun!” states Mr. Rey. He has been in so many bands and been in many different scenes, but he as long as the rest of the Reymen, have been a part of the Imperial Valley punk and skateboarding scene since the mid 80’s.
El Moreno, ex-vocal, Ex-Gay Rebel, Ex-Homosexual.
Chango Red, Bass Guitar, A.K.A Clayton Armstrong, has been in many bands as Chango Rey has, he is a song writer as well. This Vexor and Corvina is multi-talented, he is apart of the strong back beat which supports Chango Rey’s dirty guitar and will in fact make you change your single note bass playing! “Red is one of the best bass player I know these days, I am proud to know that he is a Reymen.” Said Rey
Ricky Rey, Drummer, A.K.A Nazi Nardo, brewed from a laboratory from a SS bunker, trying to cross DNA between Animal from the Muppets and a Devils Hellion, he provides the fast and deadly accurate beat to your cerebellum and there is nothing you can do about it. “Nardo is and always shall be king ruler of the throne, he’s like a machine, he’s going to saw you down, that’s what I want in my band, and my side when something goes down!”
Willie Rey, Guitar, A.K.A Bill Haworth, is a new addition to the Reymen, playing the good and clean guitar which the band needs to produce those vintage sounds Chango Rey craves. “Bill will seal the deal with this band; he is talented and I know he will do a great job at it.”
Chango Rey and His Reymen is a real band, they have no desire to make money or make a record, they are true and all they want to do is bring to your ears what old artist have given to them, from the Delta banks of the Mississippi to British invasion to the gutter of the New York bowery, They give you Maximum R&B, they give you Rock N’ Roll!
