Tony It Was A Blast To Work With You!!!Get Ready ... Get Set .... This new artists from da Atl is about to take over the R&B and writing game! Her unique vocal tone, writing skills, and creativity, has opened doors for her to share her talents with the world. Her name is Maressa Gill some may know her as Gigi or Miss Ma_Riss but she has given her fans an opportunity to play a major role in her name. From the age of five Maressa decided to manage her own shows inviting her younger sister and brother to be apart of them, holding auditions for the songs that would appear in her act. Every Sunday night Maressa and her younger siblings would perform on what they new as a stage... (their kitchen floor.) The show included singing, dancing, and acting. Her parents new early on that Maressa was a natural born star, but what role would she play in the arena? As Maressa got older she performed at various events. The National Anthem & The Lords Prayer, were two songs that were requested by many. She began singing at various Boys and Girl Club fund raisers and became active at her school singing in the choir and joining a performing arts school called North Atlanta School Of The Arts. A few years went by and Maressa was reaching the age of Fifteen and decided she was going to follow her cousin T-Geezy to the studio in Tampa Fl. Maressa was so anxious to get in the booth, the producer BOLO decided to let her test out the studio equipment. Not knowing everything that went into making a song she asked him if she could have a copy of the lyrics he wanted her to sing....everyone laughed "You gotta bring your own material!"he said. So Maressa sat down an in an hour she created her first song entitled: Back In My Lyfe. The producer BOLO had no idea if Maressa could sing or not, so he told her to go in and they would do a run through just so he could adjust the levels for her to began recording. After she sang through once, immediately he stopped her. He had no idea that this fifteen year old could sing like that...after that studio session Maressa got busy, not dropping her pen once. She began writing and creating songs that told stories in which others could relate. She continued to return to Tampa to record her thoughts. She is now currently Eighteen with a head full of idea's and concepts that i know she cant wait to share with the world! Maressa is currently unsigned, but is looking forward to signing with a record label soon. So sit back and enjoy as you ride with my girl Maressa Gill.Written By J.O
