About Me
Come see my band with Luke, Sean, and Keith of Kajaja at our first show. Watch the below videos in order, please.
UPDATE:
Kajaja Force-tek is no more. Though their myspace display name claims to be just a break, the band has no plans of reuniting, but the members split in half for two new projects. Josh and Marcus both play guitar in Killhole, and Sean, Keith, and Luke all play their respective instruments in an unnamed black metal project. That is all. For those that would still like to dig deep and find out why this band was truly one of my greatest influences, and why it took me such a long time to come to terms with the break up, don't hesitate to send me a message... I can hook you up with recordings, and great quality live videos soon.
Love Always,
Max
Kajaja Force-tek is a blackened thrash metal band from the Harrisburg region of Pennsylvania. They are not your typical blackened thrash band however. Taking influences from Death Metal, Crossover Thrash, Classical, and anything else they find enjoyable, they blend together, thus forming what is quickly spreading as "Energy Metal". "Kajaja" (for short) are the pioneers of this genre of just plain different, and unique metal. This page you are currently viewing is the Street Team page for the band, originally intended as a fan page, but was found more useful when converted to this. Please listen to the music on this page, as well as Kajaja's official page, (In this profile's number one spot) if you wish to hear their entire "Energy Metal EP", along with an assortment of other songs. Since the song quality on MySpace is quite terrible, I suggest you purchase a copy of the EP at a show, or through this page, (Message me) for the low amount of $5.
Despite what some may think, Kajaja is not the least bit Metalcore. While they play with many big-name metalcore bands, Kajaja themselves do not fit into the genre. If you educate yourself on the history of death metal, especially the works of Death, and Morbid Angel, you will hear where Kajaja draw their influences from, not from Metalcore bands such as Bullet For My Valentine. I am not saying that there is anything bad about Metalcore as a genre, but it is such a common misconception, and many Metalcore "haters" do not give the band a chance, because they misunderstand the unique sound of my friends, Kajaja Force-tek.
