My general interest include, but are definitely not limited to: doodling (mostly shit that's on my mind); reading (school work allowing); Karaoking (with my little sis, Alyssa, must've been a New Kid or something in a past life time); going to concerts/shows (with my concert buddy, Sessa Pessa, my favoretist cousin and all around super duper cool person); Rocking out by myself (or with friends) like a rock god in Rock Band; collecting good fortunes from fortune cookies; dancing; going shopping for the absolutely most perfect card (I can spend hours in the card isle) and gift for the special people in my life; driving my VW Golf; singing in said car really loud with the sun roof open (YES, I'm THAT weirdo on the freeway driving next to you!); interpretive dancing to songs that I'm listening to while driving my car (WHAT?!? Can I help it that I can cut a mean rug while operating a motor vehicle? Fuck "Dancing with the Stars", it's all about "Dancing with Mike in his Car while he's Driving"!); finding out new things I can do while driving my car (there isn't much I haven't tried while driving! ;) ); wearing stupid T-shirts with stupid sayings on them; watching people pick there noses when they think no one else is watching; working out in the morning; making faces at little kids when their parents aren't looking; taking reeeaaaalllllly long showers; drinking Diet Coke (nectar of the gods); sucking the chocolate off of goobers (fruit of the gods) one at a time; talking to myself; spazzing out; waisting 40% of my waking life in reality while I spend the remaining 60% in my own reality; taking my time at just about anything I do cause I can (no longer in the Army! NA! NA!); thinking of all the cool people and experiences I've had the good fortune of meeting and experiencing; making my little sis Al laugh; meeting new cool people; walking into clubs like I own them only to have my friends get stopped behind me at the door by the bouncer(s); having good long talks with good friends; sleeping in only boxers; laughing out loud at movie theaters when something funny happens in the movie; taking "chics" to scary movies just so I can sit next to them inorder to make them jump during the scary parts. I'm sure there are more things that "interest" me that I forgot, mostly it's all the little things in life that "interest" me and bring a smile to my face. I think the best part of life is discovering more of these little things. Is that an interest in and of itself?... ..

I finally upgraded, and bought a PS3! If you have a PS3 too, please feel free to look me up using the tag listed above, and maybe we can meet up and play online sometime! Our Governator after watching this Japanese commercial he did for some energy drink.... In all seriousness, let me just tell you who I would NOT like to meet on MySpace; people trying to add every single person in the world to their MySpace page like it's some kind of popularity contest (I guess I'm just not cool enough to get caught up in all of that. If you're not going to talk to me, then why add me? Sorry, hate to break the news to you, but that's not "networking"...), Fuckers in bands asking me to be their friends that I don't know (if I wanted to be your friend I would look for you and ask! Don't try to add me, because that won't change the chances of me NOT showing up to one of your next shows, or NOT buying one of your CD's!), and finally amatuer porn and vid chicks trying to hawk their sites to me (I think you're fucking gross, plus if I wanted to watch porn I'ld go out and rent or buy it! I'm not one of those loser loner guys [ok, maybe I am, but that's besides the point!] who's going to get ensnared with some fake cheap line like "I'm single looking to date..." or "You're hot, cum look at my site" B.S.! Also, I definitley don't want to know or "date" people like you! Go back to the whole "gross" thing for the details as to that). If you subscribe to any or all of these categories (hhhmmm, can we say, "Tila Tequila"?), or just don't have anything of value or new to say don't try to add me! I find people like you trying to add me super fucking annoying! I'll never add you, so just don't try! Please? Please!?!... Now, on to someone I'ld really like to meet, a really old filthy stinking rich sick woman who hates sex but wants to get married soon (eat that Anna Nicole! R.I.P. Naach! Just kidding [Or am I? Pass up sex with a woman, who am I kidding? After all, beggers can't be choosers!]!), people who like me for who I am and not what I can do for them, anyone happy with themselves or just happy people, the person with all the "answers" so I can make them tell me them all, this "Man" people are always talking about holding them down so I can kick his ass for them, maybe a crazy biker who'll kidnap me on their bike and make me go touring around the country with them, a person that'll laugh at all of my stupid jokes, and most importantly a partner in crime (boy or girl) to go on madcap misadventures with or just a person who'll drop everything they're doing at the drop of a dime so they can go to the beach with me on the beautiful days (school allowing that is)! .. .. .."http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/s wflash.cab..version=6,0,0,0" width="550" height="525" id="draw" align="">.......... ..>
Whatever's playing on my phone at the moment (I only listen to the good stuff baby)! I like to listen to a lot of different stuff (some might say I have an eclectic taste in music. OTHERS, still, will say that I have emo leanings [like CEEJ you homo! ...still I Luv yah!]. I like to think that I just like music in general). If pressed on the matter I might admit to loving the 80's (mostly alternative, new wave and some pop ie; The Smiths, The Cure, The Cars, Devo, Depeche Mode, New Order, The Police and etc..) and the current direction that main stream rock's heading in (gotta love alt, folk, and indie rock!). Sorry, but way way way too many bands to list here. I'm not going to be one of "those" people that list every "in" band on earth in my music section. P.S. I'm also kind of lazy. Isn't the best part of music sharing it with the people you know? Let me know some time, and we can sit around and listen to some of my music together! I promise a mix will come out of it! I also think it's super to be able to dance to something other than RB, Hip Hop, Techno or House again......... Did I mention I Like to blast The Beach Boys (Brian Wilson is A GENIUS! "Smile" is brilliant!) in the car stereo when it rains?
TWO WORDS people: "Scrarecrow Slayer"! Check it out, it's a Belden family favorite, just ask Al! Ok, maybe not, but seriously pretty much any movie directed by Wes Anderson, Kevin Smith, Tim Burton (except "Planet of the Apes"), Michel Gondry or written by his coolness Charlie Kuafman. "Fight Club", "The Nightmare Before Christmas", and "Amelie" probably rank up there on my list of all time favorites. More recently I really enjoyed: "The Myst" (What? It totally surprised me! Plus the ending was wicked!), "The Prestige" (Totally rocked my world! I'm still thinking about that one!), "The Darjeeling Limited" (really helped me work through some personal issues, and in my personal opinion is one of Wes Anderson's best films yet!), "Children of Men" (easily the best film of 2006! No joke!), Pan's Labrynth (WOW!), "Garden State" (Zach Braff is a genius!), "Lost in Translation" (did I mention the fact that Scarlett Johansen is smoking hot?!?), "American Splendor", "I <3 Huckabees", "The Motorcylce Diaries", "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (Easily the greatest love story ever told!), and "Sin City" were all great. I used to go to the movies at least once a week. Now I might go twice a month. It's hard to go to the movies when your friends don't share the same taste in movies (or you just don't have time to now thanks to school)! :( ......
There was a time in my life (think more recently) when I could claim that I didn't watch a lot of tv. Sadly, since acquiring a DVR I can't stop watching THE damn tv! Can I help it if THE tv is currently experiencing a new Golden Age in scripted programming?!? Thank the gods for DVR! Since I don't really have a lot of free time to watch live tv when school is in session the DVR is now tuned (ussually late at night and in bed, after school) to either "South Park" (those guys are genuis's) on Comedy Central, pretty much any show on Adult Swim on The Cartoon Network (the smartest and funniest shit on the tube today! HELLO MUTHER FUCKIN' South Park and Robot Chicken, "LOST", "Heroes", "Battlestar Galactica", "The Office", "Scrubs", "Pushing daisies", "Avatar: The Last Airbender", or Something on TLC, Discovery or Bravo like; "Project Runway", "Queer Eye", "Trading Spaces", "Monster House", "American Chopper", "Dirty Jobs", "Junkyard Wars", "Iron Chef" (on the Food Network), or "The Ultimate Fighter" (on Spike TV).
I like to read a lot. Give me a book and I'll probably read it (school work allowing). I'm always reading! If I'm not reading a book I can probably be found reading other peoples blogs (I have like 10 subscriptions), the newspaper (and to think I could never understand as a kid why my dad read the paper in the mornings...) or good old Time magazine. I recently finished "The Deathly Hallows" the newest installment in the Harry Potter series, I read it in like a day and a half! I won't spoil it for you, but if you haven't read them, do so now! Seriously, what are you still doing here reading my profile?!? Go out and get literate! Witness for yourself the popculture phenomonom that is Harry Potter! Don't be the last one to jump on the train, or worst yet, don't let it pass you by entirely! Trust me, these books are well on their way to becoming classic children's literature, up there with the likes of "Tom Sawyer", the "Narnia" series (about to be turned into a series of films by Disney) and the "Oz" books! Trust me when I tell you this, these are books you're going to want to pass on to your children in the future...... Still reading? Well ok, I tried. At least you're reading something, right? I also recently read "Neverwhere" by Neil Gaiman, it was OK ("American Gods" and "Good Omens" were better) and "The Beach" (can't see what the big fuss was all about on that one). Before that I read "Fight Club" by Chuk Palaniuk and you know what? It was fucking awesome! Michael Chabon's "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay" (also fucking awesome and totally deserving of the Pulitzer he won for it!), anything by Jonathan Carrol but most recently "The Land of Laughs", ANY of the Harry Potter books, Jim Munroe's "Flyboy Action Figure Comes with Gasmask" (a great zine for young modern men still trying to "figure it all out"), and I have been known to pick up a Kurt Vonegut and Nick Hornsby book from time to time. The "Bone" Collected trade by Jeff Smith is awesome (it's got lots of pretty pictures to boot too!) and is one of my personal favorites. Next on the list are: "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", "American Psycho", "Love is A Mixtape", and " About a Boy".
My Momma, any one that does there own DAMN "thing" instead of what THE DAMN TV tells them to do!, the too dumb to know the difference/blissfully unaware tragically un-hip people who are happy with their lot in life, and uhm..... people who pick up the trash on the side of freeways (cause some one's gotta do it, and it sure as hell ain't gonna be me! You dig?)!
