Gary started singing at a young age and soon became noticed for his ability to sing many genres. This was put to the test at the age of 12 when he appeared in the musical "ABBACADABRA" alongside established artistes such as Elaine Paige and B.A Robertson. By the age of 14 he had appeared in both musicals and short films in and around London, and featured alongside Gary Oldman in the film Sid and Nancy.
By the age of 19, Gary was writing his own material and performing with his band "Body Torque". After many nights in recording studios and holes burning in their financial pockets, Gary decided to learn how to produce his own songs.
As the early 90's came into effect, so did raves and Gary was producing songs of this Genre which were aired on radio stations and the Rave scene throughout the South West London area.
By 2001, Gary had joined the band "The Heaters" who were renowned for their mad on stage antics, but also for their solid Soul/Funk/Ska sound. Sadly, in 2005 Gary had to leave the band due to personal reasons, but rejoined the band in 2007 who by then had changed their name to Hybrid 7.
Gary still performs on Stage and TV as an Actor, and is Lead Singer for Hybrid 7, performing at Music Festivals and clubs all over the country. He is a successful music producer who has worked with many bands throughout the years and still performs as a Solo Artist.
"I first began singing as a child at family gatherings etc, as that was the norm being from an Irish background. I soon found that I was being chosen for school choirs etc more often than not. Thanks to a music teacher, I got my first taste of live singing at the age of 12 and caught the bug from that moment. I began taking singing and acting lessons and found that for me, Soul and Blues had more feeling to it than any other genre out there, but as time went on I got to appreciate the aspects of all genres, more so when I began producing".
"Singing in a Musical one night and screaming my head off the next night in a club wasn't doing my voice any favours, although it did give me the ability to sing in many ways"....................
