Formed in 1998 in San Francisco leading event/party promoters Merlot, Martin & Perez teamed up with Sunev & Raja to complete the super funked out unit. Leading the underground scene of funksters they embarked on a journey to Tokyo to play one of the biggest electronic festivals Harukaze. Discovered immediately within a week they were quickly to become Tokyo super stars. Soon after word got out & the BBC London came out to make a documentary on the little space faieries which was broadcast throughout London. Filmed thoughout Tokyo in clubs: Yokohama Bay Hall & Sugar High. Tours were formed & record deals followed... Our boys hosted their own MTV Japan special of their top 10 favorite videos! Soon after a video of their own was made & broadcast on MTV Japan & Europe. To this day the video floats internationally on underground music video shows. Our boys are also featured in many J-POP music videos like HITOMI & AMURO NAMIE. If your into video games their 1st deal was given to them by TECMO creators of the Playstation/Xbox game Dead Or Alive. Tecmo took big interest in CovP & helping them along towards success. Along came 2 DVD projects X-MODE Space Invaders which featured 2 CovP videos sharing the likes of Kox-Box & Vision Quest. Featured in magazines: Men’s Egg, San Francisco Examiner, Floor, Metropolis, CIA, Urban Flyer, Tokyo Classified, Guppy, Love PA, Tokyo Journal & Egg. CovP played all the large dance festivals including: Vision Quest, Anoyo, Arcadia, Solstice & Harukaze. Playing to crowds of over 7,000 on Mt Fuji to the famous Yoyogi Park sunday parties! Regulars on the Music Video show hosted by Brian, Megalomaniacs on Space Shower Tv. Produced by the famous 80’s heavy metal producer Keisuke "Moonlight" who produced LOUNDNESS. What’s unique about Chilldren Ov Paradise is they are all reputable DJ’s playing all the major clubs & events: Fura, Bay Hall, Pylon, Vision Quest, ISM & sharing a venue w/ Aphex Twin... Coming back to America headlining Ascension in San Francisco @1015 Folsom, Thump Radio & opening up for Jane’s Addiction in L.A. @the Wiltern. Now split into 2 projects: CRASH BERLIN & PROTECTION still united, strong & pumping out the beats.
