Hinny

Hinny is a fiddler and violin teacher who lives in Newcastle upon Tyne. She has been playing for 22 of her 25 years, and in that time has enjoyed discovering music from the classical repertory and from the rich and glorious traditions of Britain and Scandinavia, from polskas to Prokofiev. Current projects include playing with Gris Sanderson (www.grissanderson.com), and also trip-hop outfit The Monocult (www.myspace.com/themonocult). Hinny is also honoured to have been a guest on the beautiful album 'The One Two Bird and the Half Horse' by Orla Wren (http://orlawren.com/).
