Birmingham Bertie is quite simply the most original, charismatic entertainer to emerge from the British music scene in many years. Mixing great grooves with his unique observations of the world around us, Bertie is fast gaining a cult following of like minded souls who are increasingly contemptuous of having their lives governed by political correctness. Band Members: Birmingham Bertie writes and produces all his own songs. They are recorded, mixed and produced in his own studio, then uploaded to the internet. The video of "The World's Gone Mad" was filmed by Jim Holmes of Chaplins Film and TV, and the creative editor who gave the film so much magic was Peter Payne. Bertie's first Album will be available in the Autumn of 2008! It's a hilarious story of the life and times of a modern day popstar, entitled "The Rise and Fall of Birmingham Bertie!" It tells of his discovery by an American record producer right through to his eventual demise, and it's quite simply sensational! Happy listening and viewing! One thing is for certain, you will not experience anything remotely similar anywhere on this planet!!
