Band Members: About Guilherme Schroeter, neo-romantic composer

I meet Guilherme some years ago, and recently I performed his Piano Concerto Op.180 No.3 (F minor) - The Hans of Destiny.

Since then, he showed me some compositions that shows a lot of talent, and originality...

Guilherme comes from a traditional family of musicians, and his ancestors come from Germany and have stablished themselves in the south of Brazil around 1910 (see his aunt Soparno, Olga Maria Schroeter , and his brother, virtuose violinist - Harry Schroeter, on TOP FRIENDS

He started his piano first steps with his Mother MARIA HELENA SCHROETER on the 60's.

With 9 he was capable to do Schubert lieder accompaniments with his aunt OLGA MARIA SCHROETER , and with 11 he did his first composition, a chirstmas trio to flute violin and piano performed with his borithers (the photos you can see at Sibeliusmusic web-site

He was active as a Pianist since 1975, and since there he had performed with his brother Harry, travelling and doing competitions and recitals around Brazil.

Between 12/18 (1972-8) years old he studyed with Larry Fountain, and under his oritentation sooner he was capable to perform pieces like Mendelsohn G minor and Beethoven Bb Major Piano concertos.
