Where’s Jerome has taken no time to be included in MX Magazine, Brag and Drum Media features as well as supporting some great Australian bands like Faker, Dappled Cities, Sparkadia and Young and Restless. FBI 94.5 Bridge presenter Dom Alessio dug an early demo version of the pop-tastic 'Ashtray', immediately fell in love with it... enough to write a few kind words about it on “Who The Hell Are They?†a very cool new music blog site; “I was so taken by it, Jeremy’s crafted himself a number of rather endearing tunes that marry acoustic guitar and clear vocals with smooth, funky electronic backings. Expect to hear a lot more courtesy of Where’s Jerome very soon.†Sydney label RiSH Records were also suitably vibed, enough to release their debut 'Dreamboat' EP on 15th January 2008. Where’s Jerome live is a varied experience, songs like “Ashtray†come to life with the help of backing tracks, conversely, the straight up three piece band sound is reminiscent of Regurgitator and even Ween, in fact, the non-genre specific influence of those two bands is central to the philosophy of Where’s Jerome.
