First and foremost I am completely in love with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, he is my best friend, my rock, my comforter, my defender, and above all my God. Without Him I am nothing, with Him I can be anything. I am one of the most lucky people alive. I work with youth (mostly Jr High) at EMBC, and there is nothing I enjoy more than loving people to the cross, and helping them grow. I work under the best youth minister I have ever known (and I've known at least 6 personally), and he teaches me more about ministry everyday. Words cannot express how much I love what I do, and how I am humbled by the fact that God can use me to make a positive impact on his Kingdom. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for my life as He continues to prepare me for the ministry He has called me to.
I have great friends. Many play an active role in holding me accountable and encouraging me to grow as I do them. And we know how to laugh, it is my prayer that the joy of my salvation always be present in my life, sometimes I fall very short of that... but I'm working on it. Sometimes I can be taken the wrong way I almost always mean well, but sometimes I say things wrong, or care to much. And sometimes I am a little to in your face.... but please never question my intentions.
School is simply something I tolerate to be able to do what I do in ministry. God opened the door for me to serve here, so I do. I almost left to live in KY and attend Boyce College, but God closed the door and now I can see why. He blesses me even through unanswered prayer. I am learning much more here, being involved with ministry than I ever would in a classroom. I do attend Alabama State University and am currently pursing a Social Studies Education degree.... I wish it would stop running from me!!I am currently waiting on the woman God has for me, I wish she would hurry and get here, but I know that if He has me waiting this long.... she will be worth it.
I love Auburn Tiger football, steak, dark chocolate, some of every kind of music, church trips!!, singing loud in my car on a good or bad day, Chick-fil-a, laughing, fireworks, HOUSE ( I was told I am the doctor.. complement???), teaching the Bible to kids who want to listen.
Above all I am just a college guy who wants people to see Jesus in him and all he does. I want him to guide my entire life. My desire is to be more like Him everyday, as long as I do that life is good....
