ABOUT SHOWS
Anyone wishing to book a show at the Outpost should read the following before asking to be booked. Any shows booked at a different venue may vary.
Here's how it works:
We book the shows, you play them. Together, we promote like crazy to get people to come out and experience your music.
**PLEASE NOTE**
The Outpost is a concert venue. It does not have a natural draw. It relies on entertainment to bring people to the club.If your band cannot bring
at least 20-25 people, please do not ask to play. We love ya, but if you can't bring people, its not going to be any fun for anyone.
**OUT OF TOWN/TOURING ACTS**
We would love to have you at The Outpost. We know its tough being on the road and we would love to help. FTF Concerts is very friendly to touring bands, but we would still strongly recommend hooking up with a couple local acts befor approaching us about playing here.
*Typical Show:
4-5 bands to a show.
30-45 minute sets for all bands.
15 minutes in between sets.
We offer bands the opportunity to create their own flyers and give them to fans as pre-sale tickets.
Any fan who enters with one of your individual flyers will receive a $1 discount on admission. These flyers are a great marketing tool and we'll pay you $1 per flyer turned in at the door up to 30. $2 per flyer after that.
At the end of the night, after we pay sound, door man, and the bar as needed, we split the remaining money amongst the bands. Our typical cost for a show is around $125, which means we need to get 25-30 people through the door to break even. Once we do, the money goes to the bands.
We treat every band the same... fairly. You promote, you get paid. The more you promote, the more you get paid. If the bar does well, you get paid... and we'll probably ask you to come back!
No outrageous ticket sales requirements. No tricks. No gimmicks. This is how it works.

And the people who make it all happen.. the fans.
