i'm 26 years old, born and raised at the beach, so naturally i'm very laid back. my parents got divorced in '94 when i was 12, yet they got back together and tried to work things out a few times after they were divorced, maybe thats where i get my indecisiveness from. in september of '98, me and 2 of my friends, mike and matt(R.I.P) were skating in gainesville(at UF) while my parents were at a gator football game. we were by the O'Connell center when i got hit by a car, flew through the air and smacked into a bus. from this, i fractured my neck(which required 2 titanium screws in my C2 vertebrae), got staples in my head, got a hole in the back of my head(hair still will not grow there), a cut requiring stitches on my right thigh, glass in my left elbow area(there's still some under the skin). in early '04 i was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and went through 2 surgeries, one in june, and the other in october of '04 and a few iodine radiation treatments spanning a year and a half or so and yet the cancer still spread to my lungs. even though i've gone through quite a bit in a few years, my outlook remains the same, it could always be worse. Since i finally started taking my meds like i'm supposed to, the cancer's in remission, not gone, just not growing. that's the good news, now my liver is half shot from drinking too much, yay, another issue.
