I am an enigmatic contradiction, my friends call me either Yobbo or Big Red. I am very much the outdoorsy type although my home cinema and nerd room suggests otherwise. I have an aptitude for all things big and noisy or little funky high tech stuff and earn my keep through their design and repair. My favourite sport is eating and cooking so I balance that by going on weekly missions, usually climbing a mountain, a nice long hike somewhere pretty, scaring bushwalkers on the mountain bike or a sail when the weather dares me to. I am mostly a quiet homebody however I get paid fortnightly the day before a three day RDO weekend so how could I not go out and run amok. My preference for a night out is a dodgy coverband in the beergarden although having DJ and promoter friends has made me a reluctant member of the rave scene. I also enjoy the finer things in life, a five star meal at a trendy restaurant for example, but I temporarily de-tune my car so it is as noisy and smoky as possible when I give it to the valet, and I dress as scruffy as I can and take a 6-pack of local beer when attending art openings and galleries. My pride and joy is my 1977 Monaro GTS, a restored classic and now very rare Australian sports car. Its classic vehicle status affords me loopholes in the noise polution legislation that I take full advantage of.
