About Me

Debut 7" Rocketship to Hell now available ONLINE
FREE MP3 download of the record + 1 song "Unholy Four's debut 7" revives rock and roll's rough edge, blending 70s riffs with punk rock. The style is raw and uncompromising, and the lyrics are punishing. The download includes a bonus track not available on the vinyl release. The 7" comes printed on luscious, marble grey vinyl." - Record Theory
Taking their name from an early 60's Philadelphia gang, The Unholy Four are softspoken dirtbags from Charlottesville, VA hell bent on bringing some grit and grime back to rock-n-roll. The songs are based on real life experiences - the kind that start with a can of beer and end up where ever you awake. Without pomp or put-ons, they slink onstage and crush it with thunderous volume and vintage amplifiers, deriving primal joy from the influences of Motorhead, Rocket From The Crypt, the Stones, Animals, and Turbonegro. The Unholy Four stick to straight forward, no frills rock-n-roll the only way they know how to do it. All style, and no class.
