EMMANUELE BALDINI was born into a family of musicians. He attended the "Virtuositè" class of the Geneva Conservatoire with Corrado Romano, in Berlin and in Salzburgo with R. Ricci. For chamber music, he studied with the "Trio di Trieste" and with F. Rossi.
Winner of several international competitions from very young, (1st prize in Stresa, Capri, "Junger Kunstler Forum" in Vienna), he was acclaimed as soloist winning the 1st "Virtuositè" prize with a special mention in Geneva, and the 3rd prize in the "R. Lipizer" Competition of Gorizia. More recently he won, in duet, the 2nd prize in the International chamber music competition "Riviera del Conero", the 2nd prize in Pinerolo, and the 2nd prize in Caltanissetta.
He presents solo or violin and piano recitals in his curriculum throughout Italy and in the main European concert halls; Vienna (Konzerthaus), Linz (Brucknersaal), Geneva (Victoria Hall), Munich (Gasteig), Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Salzburg, Lublin, Brussels (Big Concert Hall of the Royal Conservatoire), Budapest ("F. Liszt" Academy), Luxembourg, Paris, Copenhagen. He has performed in Albania (Tirana), Turkey (Istanbul), Argentina (Buenos Aires, Rosário, Mar del Plata, Córdoba), Brazil (São Paulo, Curitiba), Australia (Sidney, Melbourne, Adelaide) and in four more long tours in Japan (Kioi Hall and Metropolitan of Tokyo, Symphony Hall of Osaka...).
He has interpreted the main Concerts of the repertoire for violin accompanied by orchestras like: the "Wiener Kammerorchester" (Mozart), the "Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin" (Schumann), the "Orchestre de la Suisse Romande" (Schostakovich), the "Flanders Youth Philharmonic Orchestra" (Bruch), the Orchestra of State of Moldavia (Brahms and Mendelssohn), the Orchestra of the "G. Verdi" Theater of Trieste (Mozart and Dvorak), the Chamber Orchestra of Mantua (Mozart).
Countless musicians sang critic praises about him: Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Muti, Daniele Gatti, Aldo Ciccolini, Franco Gulli, Ruggiero Ricci, Franco Rossi and the "Trio di Trieste". He has performed as soloist or in chamber music recitals with Francesco Manara, Konstantin Bogino, Antonello Farulli, Patrick Demenga, Luca Ranieri, Silvia Chiesa, Paolo Grazia, Maurizio Zanini, Ilan Rechtman.
He has recorded compact discs for "Agorà ", "Rivoalto" and "Phoenix" among which, the compact disc with the Sonatas of Franck and Magnard, highly praised, also by the international critics. His other compact discs include: Viotti (duets for two violins, and sonatas for violin and cello), Paganini and Tartini (virtuouso pieces), Weber and Mendelssohn (sonatas for violin and piano), including the integral of Martucci for violin and piano ("One of the greatest tributes to G. Martucci", according to G. Cerisola in "Classic Voice"). Soon a CD with the Sonatas for violin and piano of F. Busoni will be for sale.
He was the concertmaster of the Orchestra of the Municipal Theater of Bologna and of the Orchestra of the "G. Verdi" Theater of Trieste, also collaborating to the invitation of Conductor Riccardo Muti, with the Orchestra of "Scala", and now he is principal concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra of the State of São Paulo (Brazil). He performed as concertmaster with: R. Muti, V. Gergev, K. Masur, K. Nagano, D. Gatti, P. Maag, P. Steinberg, D. Renzetti, Y. Abronovitch, D. Oren, R. Barshai, G. Bertini, S. A. Reck, G. Pehlivanian, J. Neschling, A. Ceccato, K. Penderecki.
