Shock Induction

Shock Induction began last year after Kieran brought back a Martin guitar from the States. Jim wanted to see it, so after several months, Kieran duly took it round to Jim's gaff, where there happened to be a full drum kit set up. Meanwhile, Paul wanted a gander too, and just happened to stroll in from a drum lesson. Jim invited Kieran to pick up a bass, whilst Paul wandered over to the drums, and Jim did what comes naturally, picking up his lead guitar. The wheels were now set in motion for the greatest phenomenon in the North since the invention of the badger.Kieran had some songs he had written over the last few years so the three fellow Pisceans set about bringing these to life. After a while they decided to expand the line up. Kieran dragged Colin out of retirement, who he knew through an old band they used to be in together in the late 80's (The Vinyl Martyrs). They have now recruited a keyboard player, Steve, and had their first rehearsal as a five piece on the 8th January.
BITS 'N BOBS ABOUT THE BOYS:

Kieran: a self-confessed film-a-holic. Who else do you know who could name the location manager for 'Godzilla'?!!! Also somewhat of a prankster, he has been known to confuse his friends by calling them up and imporsonating representatives from BTJim: if he can't fix it, it probably can't be fixed. Always shows up to band practice with his toolkit (as well as his collection of gadgets). As if being a member of 'Shock Induction' wasn't enough, Jim also devotes his spare energies to his other band - 'Rough Touch'Paul: often seen around town sporting a cappucino eyebrow, he is possibly Costa Coffee's star customer of the noughties (so far)... Paul also has an affinity with rodents and dreams of badgersColin: Regularly spotted rescuing cats from trees, Colin's height should have guaranteed him a star career as a basket ball player. Sadly that was all nipped in the bud when a jealous dwarf stole his hamstrings, leaving Colin to dwell on what could have beenSteve: Likes nothing better than twirling round the dance floor with his keyboard in his back pocket and a gleam in his eye
