'Les Fleurs Mentent' : Prelude
I composed this one when I got this unbelievably pretty chords from my friend Denis Caussé who wrote a beautiful song named 'Les Fleurs Mentent'. I tried to keep the best parts of what I could improvise then, so what you hear is only one version out of many other ones. I could never play twice the same ! The recording turns loud, cause I got lost into velocity parameters and got quickly bored...
War March
I was asked to make a soundtrack in one day for a Heroic Fantasy game project as a proof of my ability and motivation to intergrate the team. The project in fact was not credible at all (big-headed young unexperienced developers who had no idea how to run a software project and editing) and it was cancelled shortly after I wrote this... Damn. I have always dreamed of a job like this.
Prog Metal Parody
The original title was 'Big Headed Progster'. This is 100% Korg Trinity sound. This was meant to be a private joke for friends to make fun of my fellow guitar hero wanna-be bandmate, as well as a tribute to some bands like Dream Theater or Symphony X. It includes references to Damnation Game, Change of Seasons, Learning To Live (Images and Words), Stadium Guitar Heroes and of course Derek Sherinian leads (Monster Lead!). This was... just for fun !
