About Me

I began my career on bass guitar. I loved the power and full sound of the bass, but I soon moved on to guitar which offered a more expressive way of getting the music out. 15 years later I found the Chapman Stick. Immediately I knew this was the instrument for me. Now I have the best of both. A powerful bass instrument as well as an articulate melodic vehicle, all on one neck and played simultaneously. For over 25 years I have composed and played my own style of music on this instrument. It is a source of inspiration in my quest to create my unique music. I have recently began singing and added vocals to my tunes in an effort to create more broad appeal. My group Impact! takes my original music to live venues and I can't say enough about my fellow players. Dr. Tim and I have been playing together since the early 70's in Southern California where we both grew up. Music just flows naturally and unimpeded between us. Chris Ozuna has been with the group for a couple years and I could not ask for a better drummer or friend. We work together because we are together. I love these guys.
