Wilfred Martin was born in St . Croix , Virgin Islands to Dominican parents . He grew up in Louisiana , New Jersey and New York City . Although he Currently resides in Kenner , La . Know as KingSteelo to the music world . He completed 3 years of college in the Theatre / Acting major . Certified auto-mechanic completed trade @ Louisiana Tec College graduated from Edison Job Corps in 1994 with high school diploma father to two daughters Julisa ( 11 ) + Mia ( 3) released an LP entitled Drainin in 2001 in the New Orleans Metro Area founding member of Scratch Pro Entertainment . Also released a mix tape CD entitled Da Killing Fields in 2007 also in the New Orleans Metro Area under Scratch Pro Entertainment and IronWorks Entertainment . Unfortunately incarcerated a few months after the great release of both . Sold over 10,000 CD’s independently ( out of the trunk ) . Incarcerated from 2001 to 2006 where Incarcerated Refugees took place , ( Known as Freaky KiKi in his neighborhood ) kicked out of boot camp ( impact program ) at Hunt in 2001 won a music award by Nosotros Magazine in 2006 for helping Tito promote the hottest Latin night club in New Orleans ( The HOB House of Blues ) currently incarcerated , for a booby trap entitled Parole . Currently fighting felony charges that he’s innocent of by the Kenner Police Department who despise him .

This is the story of a young man who was incarcerated after being dishonorably discharged from thhe military . He served for several years and was going to another prison for his final stretch of the time when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans . Many of us have seen on the news all of the terrible things that happened during the storm and the aftermath , but there is very little to no coverage on what happen to the inmates at the time . And the truth of the matter is , while everyone else was being evacuated to other cities and states , the inmates were trapped and completely forgotten about . This story tells a first hand experience of the floodwaters , the injuries people suffered and the simple necessities they went days without .
This non-fiction story is written in colloquial , story-like manner . It may appeal to anyone who was in Katrina or has an interest in the lack of responseon the governments part concerning the people there .
