what am i to do with all this... silence?

About Me

Check out my Facebook.
I'm an honest person, sometimes brutally so. However, if I'm blunt about a statement, it's to make a point. I won't just be blunt to hurt somebody. Usually.
I love meeting new people, provided they fit the requirements listed below.
I absolutely love music. I've played guitar for many years now, and I write music. However, I'm unable to write a good song unless I'm truly inspired (unfortunately), which usually only happens when I'm really hurt by something. If I'm happy, it's hard to come up with anything worth a damn. I haven't written a song since February 16th 2005, and that was about a Nyquil-induced dream I had which really did my head in.
I've got a dark sense of humor, and I sincerely appreciate those who can understand or, even better, relate to it. You can learn more about my humor by reading the works by Jhonen Vasquez and Roman Dirge listed in the "Books" section to the left.
I'm a decent guy, save for the rare occasion when I fly off the handle and go on a massive killing spree. No worries though, as that only happens about once a week. Except during months that end in "...ber." I'm much more prone to homicidal tendencies at those times.

I'd like to meet:

Also, laid-back people who know how to have fun, those who have unique and original philosophies that may open my eyes to new possibilities and perspectives, those who are non-judgemental and generous in their concern and/or affection. Those who are fiercely loyal to their friends, as I am - and don't just pretend to be. To the overly-abundant people who take themselves far too seriously, invite or create drama where it was previously absent, or place themselves above everyone else, allow me to humbly suggest that you go outside and play hide-and-go-fuck-yourself. Thank you.

Toy Soldiers, sound off!

How are YOU helping to further the cause of Doctor Steel?

Life is far too short...

Life is far too short to live in fear, or with regrets. When I die, I want to be able to do so with the knowledge that I've truly lived, and that I experienced all I possibly could during this incarna...
