About Me

I keep going, and going, and going!I used to be a bass player and now I'm not!But I'm sure I really, REALLy want to add this to my profile. Really!I do! It's about that time of year,so here is the beginning of my "Day Of The Dead" page!I'm going to scan in more pictures of my family, most of whom have passed to the great beyond. Dia De Los Muertos altars are from the Mexican Fine Arts Museum. If you haven't already been to this exhibit this year, go!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I have no idea who I would like to meet. I've met a ton of people already; I like everyday people. I used to find my adult ed./ ESL students to be very interesting. They would come up with interesting ideas and language.Meyer Lansky? Maybe. My grandfather Sid; he died 5 years before I was born. I would like to be able to get in the time machine and go back without him knowing I was his grandson. I would get a lot of answers, maybe. Betty Page, maybe. There seem to be many stories in her face. Phillip K. Dick, the author of "Blade Runner". I would like to have met him when he was writing for pulp and "men's magazines", living on horsemeat he bought from the pet store. Vanessa Del Rio. I rejoined "MySpace" because she has a page!

Fene Vs. George

Fene was one of the most good-natured people I had ever met. Although her innate grace spared her the more cruel variety of high school scorn, a lot of kids would tease her about her accent, her name ...

Fene

Fene was an improbably pretty girl. She was improbable in that her adolescent gangliness was worn as a sort of casual beauty, tinged with the hint of a world weariness belonging to a grown woman 3 tim...
