Snowed In consists of three talented young musicians. The lead man is Jeff Parker who sings vocals and plays mandolin, on "ripping" lead guitar is Mike "Baby Bear" Williams, and Jeremy Garner holds down the rhythm with his masterful rhythmic guitar lines. After watching a Snowed In performance most viewers would assume the band has played together for years since the band is so tight. However, Snowed In formed on a cold and snowy February night in 2007. The bands first gig was on St. Patrick's Day and over the past few months they have accumulated a large number of fans. Some would even say that a few of the fans are "obsessive". Snowed In's music is hard to pigeonhole, so the easiest way to describe it would be "Classic Blues Rock Jam Grass". Many of the songs Snowed In plays live extend past the six minute mark with multiple blues drenched in barbeque sauce guitar solos and mandolin and acoustic guitar freak outs. The band loves to close the set with two all time classics, "Free Bird" and "All Along the Watchtower". If you get the chance to come and see the band perform live, I guarentee they won't dissapoint.
