I was born in the Dominican Republic, and at the age of 10 moved to Puerto Rico where I first heard the salsa beat. I took an instant liking to the music, which quickly turned into my passion.In 1992, while living in Los Angeles, Ca, my life totally changes. I went to a club on a Thursday night, saw some people dancing and here is where the story really starts; it was love at first sight, from that moment on, all I wanted to do was to become a good dancer. After a year or two of social dancing, people started to ask me if I taught classes. I said yes for fun, started teaching and BAM!! I realized that I absolutely loved it!I came to Miami in the year 2000. I met my wife; we started our company, Salsa Karibe, and finally we opened our own dance studio, Karibe Dance Studio.Karibe Dance Studio is teaching the world to dance one-step at the time.
