I've been living and working in the Waterloo area for the past three years. Originally from Hull, Quebec (Canada), and Ottawa prior to moving here.
My trade is a mixture of things, I guess you could say I have more than one trade. I've worked customer service & retail, as well as shipping & transportation. At present I'm hoping to get another job in the shipping department (preferably clerical), however I may just have to settle for customer service related work for the time being. It seems that the shipping jobs aren't the easiest to come by, the nearest best city for my field is Cambridge (a 30 minute drive through the city).
I'm living with my spouse and our pet bird, Dexter. One of my best friends from Ottawa and his cat Jags also live here. Of course, that being said, the cat and bird do not get to share a room.
I've travelled rather extensively in North America, by that though, I really mean Canada and the United States. Unfortunately the furthest north I've been would be Moosonee, Ontario or Fort McMurray, Alberta (depending on which takes the prize for "far north"). I have been as far south as New Zealand, but that was just one trip I took with my family when I was 11. In the past seven years, I've travelled the United States about a dozen times from New York State to San Francisco to Florida, and anywhere in between.
