The idea of this tour was born when comedian Mark Riccadonna was questioned on a radio show about the name of his next tour. The other comedians, promoting religiously/ethnically/etc. themed shows made Mark wonder, “Why isn’t being funny enough?†And, the sarcastically named, “Average White Guy Tour†was born!

Are you sick of being told what to like? Everything is COOL/SEXY/FAST. I just want to be me. I used to change my ideas and thoughts because I was made to feel stupid for liking what I like. I am tired of lying about liking new styles, clothes, music or celebrities in the news. Are you like me? Are you sick of categorizing everything in your life? I am tired of feeling excluded because I am not cool/ young/ urban/ country/ black/ Asian/ Catholic/ Jewish/ southern/ smart/ dumb/ too stoned/ not enough stoned/ Italian/ Latin/ Irish/ fat/ hip/ tall/ gay/… or any combo of these enough to be in a group? I am three-dimensional, I like a lot of things, I relate to a lot of people, and enjoy being around everyone. Don’t feel excluded. We will all have one thing in common- laughter.
