I have an extremely eccletic musical taste...It all started with a woman named Reba Mcentire ...yes I was a country freak at the age of 8...In fact I picked the family vacation when I was a wee lad to go to Nashville...But my heart belongs to Janet ......Miss Jackson (Yes I AM NASTY)...I've seen her 3x in concert and think she is a goddess...I also go to a lot of concerts...This summer I have seen The American Idols in Long Island, NY...GO BO!!! ...and Motley FREAKIN Crue!!! ...I remember listening to their Dr. Feelgood tape in four grade...not that I am dating myself lol...that and every Madonna tape ever made
Panic! At The Disco RULES!!!!!
On November 23, 2005 I had one of the most rewarding and fulfilling movie-going experiences ever: the Chris Columbus-directed Rent!!! I have seen the muscial by Jonathan Larson before and loved every minute but this film version is truly a work of art and brings Larson's vision of beauty and hope to life. Six of the original eight cast members are back recreating the roles they started in 1996. If you haven't experienced a movie that makes you laugh, cry, and think all in the same time this is one for you. It is life changing and just beautiful filmmaking. Rosario Dawson is AMAZING in her role as the stripper/drug addicted Mimi. If the Academy doesn't notice her or any of the above cast members, or the movie, it will be a shame.
My favorite all time book is To Kill A Mocking Bird by Harper Lee ...Then a second would be Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger ...I am currently reading a couple of books right now...It seems like I never read one book straight through...I read a chapter or two of one...then go to another book...I am reading Wicked:The Life and Times of The Wicked Witch of The West by Gregory Mcguire and the Lemony Snicket series and a book by Christopher Rice, Ann's son.
My acting heroes are Meryl Streep and Dustin Hoffman.. ...Both actually become the character and immerse themselves so deeply into their roles that it is believable...It was an actor's wet dream come true to see them both in Kramer vs. Kramer ...lol...I did a speech on Meryl my junior year of high school...I hope to achieve the same sort of recognition both amazing people have...a naked golden man named OSCAR!!!
