Hello all,I am not a band. I'm an ameteur lyric writer! Country Lonley is my very first venture into songwriting. Hopefully it's the first of many more to come. It's hard right now, supporting a wife and two kids, working, paying bills, writing, and trying to save every penny for a demo. Money is stretched so thin for now, and most demos take any where from $160 to $500 for a decent demo!! and at least 2 months to complete!!! So you can see how this is a slow go. But I am determined for my talent to get noticed, maybe create some majors hits , and make some real money to take better care of my family.I hope to one day be a prominent name in songwriting! I write mostly country lyrics but I am expanding my talent into other genres such as R&B, pop, rock, ect. I have one contract demo under my belt that was done through Nashville Song Service, which I wasn't that happy with. I was overcharged and it took almost six months before I got it(ridiculous) but you live and you learn.I'm looking for a real publishing company that is sincerely looking to market hit songs not to just leech off of unsuspecting amateur songwriters!!I still have a lot to learn.One day I hope work as a lyric staff writer or even own my own publishing company!
