São Paulo Vegan Straight Edge

We are "Still X Strong", a Vegan Straight Edge band from São Paulo, Brazil.
We began our activities on April, 2007 with the simple purpose of disseminating the Straight Edge lifestyle, the Animal Liberation and the third world survivors' tough everyday.
The band primarily consisted of Leonardo(vocals), Iran(guitar), Athos(guitar), Franz(bass guitar) and Augusto (drums).
The initial idea was to play a hardcore influenced by the oldschool 80's bands, but also heavily influences such as "Strife", "Earth Crisis" and "Path of Resistance".
With this line-up, on August 2007, we played with "Watch Your Step"(ITA), "Overstate"(BRA) and "Good Intentions"(BRA) on our first concert.
Our first Demo was recorded on november, 2007, with four songs, produced and published completely independently.
On December 2007, Augusto was replaced by Paulo(drums) and on February 2008, Leonardo was replaced by Gabriel(former "Hello Bastards").
On this short period, we shared the stage with great bands, such as "108"(USA), "Have Heart"(USA), "Sudarshana"(ARG) and "Nueva Etica"(ARG).
Our recording was ended on August 2008, and it will be, in a split with our friends from "Corleone", released by "Caustic Recordings".
Untill the end of this year, the split will be available in Brazil.
We have plans for a tour on Europe next year.
