Small town interests meet the big world of production.Hi, I like to refer to myself as J-D. It has always been a name that I found to be suitable for what I like to do. I am an independent artist looking to express myself through my music and the production of music. I have had no serious schooling in music theory or music production so I would call my work amateur at best. I work exclusively with Fruity Loops Studio when I make my beats/music. I do it on the side so I do not commit that much time but I have been learning as I go along. I currently am a member of a local group "Us and Them" which is based in Rochester, NY. My main motivation is trying to capture the additional feelings of a situation and put them into songs as a sort of "soundtrack" theme. My ultimate goal would be to hear one of my songs in either a movie or a computer game as a soundtrack. Another lesser goal would be to hear another musician use one of my "beats" on their record.
