Rabbit Fall: The Series

About Me

Rabbit FallPREMIERING NOVEMBER 9TH ON APTN!!!!SASKATOON’S OWN ANGEL ENTERTAINMENT PRODUCES THE FIRST HOMEGROWN DRAMATIC SERIES! ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------The smaller the town, the darker its secretsThis six-part crime drama follows police officer Tara Wheaton (Andrea Menard), a big-city cop who is transferred to Rabbit Fall – a fictional northern town on the edge of the boreal forest. On the surface, Rabbit Fall appears to be your typical small town, but a malevolent force has a grip on the community, the frightening nature of which Tara only begins to glimpse as she peels away the town’s dark layers. It’s peaceful and serene one minute, wild and out of control the next, surrounded by inviting blue lakes which can turn deadly, and forests that become a maze with one wrong turn. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------- Rabbit Fall is made up of both aboriginal and white inhabitants but the division in town isn’t based on race; it’s based on belief – those who believe in the mysterious force that has the town by the throat and those who don’t. Non-believers chalk it up to economic uncertainty and isolation; but believers know it’s something more. ----------------------------------------------------------- Rabbit Fall is produced by Saskatoon’s own ANGEL ENTERTAINMENT, an award-winning film and television production company headed by Wally Start and Bob Crowe; most recently known for thier sci-fi/horror film Shadow Puppets, to be released on DVD, July 24, 2007. Joining their team is Toronto based producer, Jennifer Podemski (2006 Gemini Nominee for Best Dramatic television series - Moccasin Flats). ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------- The star studded cast includes: multi - Gemini Award nominated actress, Andrea Menard, Peter Stebbings(Writer/Star Jack & Jill VS the World with Freddie Prince Jr.); Kevin Jubinville (Twitches- 2007 Disney Feature Film); Tamara Podemski (Canada’s first recipient of 2007 Sundance Film Festival’s Special Jury Prize for Acting); and Booth Savage (Canada Russia ‘72). ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------- Director Luke Hutton (UCLA film School grad and recipient of the coveted Caucus for T.V Producers, Writers & Directors Foundation Award) will be returning home to direct two episodes of Rabbit Fall; Thomas Hale (Rabbit Fall Pilot); actor/director Lorne Cardinal (Corner Gas, renegadepress.com) and acclaimed Regina based director, Rob King (Moccasin Flats) are also slated to direct.
