About Me

April is a person who occasionally writes in the third person and likes reading books. Stories are obviously far more interesting than RL.

Jobs are terrible. And, for the most part gap-years are, though the most unexpected good things come of it.
Laziness continues to be my biggest downfall, this adds to my general lack of motivation to seriously do something before I return to education.
Although I have been a serial ‘people-pleaser’ in the past, I’m now pleased to announce a 50% more selfish me at the moment. Still love my ‘peepies’ though.
Everyone should try hard at their A-levels. No really, if you don’t you may become as bitter as me… Actually, hang on; I’ve been like this for years, probably since I was about 12, so getting crap A-level results isn’t entirely to blame. Not that results mean everything, but it would be nicer to have a bigger selection of potential universities to choose from.
I’ve recently decided I like my family more than I thought, they’re not actually bad people, though they are a little weird.
I have quite a few friends; they’re not all kind people. I like this.
I have a boyfriend. He’s pretty nice.
Channel 4-Bring back Nathan Barley, you bastards.

My Interests

Living.

I'd like to meet:

I already know these people.

Music:

Favourites from the last week.

Movies:

I used to be pretty into films, but nowadays I’ll settle for whatever they are showing on Film 4, with the occasional action film on ITV 2 thrown in for good measure. I don’t really go to the cinema as when I do I usually end up seeing the worst films ever (Spiderman 3) and I don’t often buy DVDs.

Television:

I only really watch the news (BBC news, obv') regularly. Sometimes I enjoy Neighbours and Hollyoaks due to the generally poor quality of the acting. TV mostly sends me to sleep though.

Books:

Anything by Douglas Coupland will be amazing.

Heroes:

I don't really think it's worth elevating anyone to hero status really.

My Blog

PARTY!

Wortwell fun.

Yesterday was a good day. Fact.   It all started well with my family (including my sisters) being in a good mood. So, Liz and I went to Norwich and I bought new shoes and a new bra, both of which...
