Steve Jankowski is currently a member of BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS.
An accomplished trumpet player, composer, arranger, producer, and engineer, Steve is one of only three trumpet players to tour with the legendary horn band CHICAGO (summers of '92, '06 and '07). He has also toured with the Funk Brothers, Nile Rodgers and Chic, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Don Henley, and Andrew Dice Clay to name a few. Other performances include: Aretha Franklin, Shakira, Robert Plant, Steve Winwood, Donna Summer, Chaka Kahn, Elton John, Billy Preston, Raul Midon, and Sam Moore among others. Steve's recording credits include Amy Grant (certified double platinum), Darryl Hall, Luther Vandross, Bon Jovi, Jeff Lorber, Cinderella, the Rolling Stones, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Cinderella, Jay Z., Monty Alexander, and more. A recent highlight was performing for the tribute to Ahmet Ertegun at the 2006 Montreux Jazz festival with Nile Rodgers and Chic and as a member of the George Duke All Stars.
When not on the road, Steve stays busy producing and engineering at JANKLAND RECORDING, a state of the art digital recording complex.
