DJ and producer, bound up from the start with the beginnings of the club scene in southern Spain. He became interested in music when he was very young. The eighties, and in particular, the music of the era, sparked off the innate attraction he felt for it. This was a decade that was very influential in his life, and became the basis for what would follow, and where his other influences would come to rest.
Next came the nineties and the start of a strong, more electronic influence, especially techno music. This trend had a great impact, particularly the music coming out of Detroit, led by Derrick May, Juan Atkins… and later, there was house from London and Chicago. There have been some very influential groups and soloists in his life, names like The Doors, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, New Order, Madonna, Prince, Tangerine Dreams, Public Enemy, Beasty Boys, Orbital, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Aphex Twin, Jeff Mills, Plastikman, Laurent Garnier, Talamasca, John Digweed, Sasha, Anthony Rother…
He accepted an invitation from a great friend of his and, for the first time, went to an electronic music event, something that changed his life. There, he witnessed something that he had never seen or felt before. An act where music and people merged into a single item or energy, touching on the divine or transcendental, turning into a kind of ritual. The greatest impression made on him by this new experience was the spirit and energy of the early electronic events he went to in search of this kind of music, fairly unknown at the time, and which he was crazy about. One of the things that excited him most about this latest trend and made it stand out from the rest, which was by now well known, was the different philosophy, much more marked then than now. It can be summarised by "Music for music's sake". The music itself was the most important thing, with the composer relegated to second place, or even disappearing altogether. These experiences and the spirit were what led him to buy his first mixing console.
In ‘97, he was taken on as a DJ for the first time in a small club that soon became the key element in the later development of the club scene in the south of the country. This was the start of his career as a DJ, which developed at the same time as the electronic scene spread round southern Europe. In other parts of Europe it had already taken quite a strong hold, places like London, Berlin, Amsterdam; and in the USA in Detroit, New York , Chicago, San Francisco…
Not content with what was about, he decided he needed to create spaces where he could develop these new ideas on this emerging culture. This led him to the Techclub project in ‘99, a project that he ran with his great friend and partner, Isi Urban. It became the established place for the most avant-garde electronic music for six years. Other events that he has directed and produced are: Groove Night, Relax House Party, Gay Pride Festival 2005, Seville Underground, A.M.S. After, Underground House, Afternoon Club, EDR Electronic Club, La Burra, Factor Club, Overside, Electronic Experience, 100% Break Party...
This same spirit has led him to own electronic music labels, pioneers in Andalusia, like Audioworld Records, Negrita Records, Relax Records and Blessed Audio. Activities that he has fitted into life since 2001.
Also linked very closely to the electronic underground scene, he has worked on most of the festivals held in Spain and Portugal, and is an active member of pioneering groups on this non-commercial circuit: Hardisk, Ls Division, HardBrain...
As a DJ, he is much acclaimed for his excellent taste in music based on technical finesse, which make his sets pure magic. His eagerly awaited sessions are a discharge of energy and feelings. He channels his expression through techno, minimal-trance and tech-house. He is currently waiting to produce his third EP.
