I like to party, so I like my Jesus to party...
Being in the Army has taught me that your always lonely but rarely alone. I have learned to cope, to strengthen, to, "drink water and drive on" as they say. I've learned teamwork, independence, perseverance, leadership, honor, and integrity. I've grown and I've grown up. I've made friends and I've made "associates." I've prepared for war. I've soldiered. I've been broken and rebuilt. And I'm stronger than ever. But lonely. Relatable but distant. I miss my home. I dream of a life I fear I may never have. I dream of a family that a quick nightmare could take me from. I have more now than I should.
