I am here for Friends

About Me

I grew up in SoCal with two parents who were very different. My Pop, was a small town Fullerton boy who went to Stanford and Harvard and was a Navy Underwater demo man who transmogrified into Walter Mitty and a mother who was European with a penchant for literature, all things cultural and informed by the royal casting system her ancestors were tied to with the Spanish royal family. I checked out, I don't buy most of what they espoused. Especially the Republican philosophy in my household. I love and respect my parent's choices but felt I had to depart from both of their frames of thinking, like 180 degrees. So I became a surfer chick interested in the LA punk/urban disco scene and learned some valuable lessons about what beliefs I hold true and those are forgiveness, honesty, tolerance and making the best of what you have. I had a great brother, who motivated me like no one else, made me laugh and whom I competed with for boyfriends (all be it, unknowingly),parental attention and the "coolness factor". I miss him every day but honor his memory by accepting people's relationships and marriages with any gender and not letting my lack of initial understanding inform my choices today. My other brother is a cool dude too but a roofer with a woman he controls his money and time. Nuff said.

My Interests

Greet and pick the brain of: Joan Rivers, Charlie Wayne Morrill, any constitutional lawyer, Patty Duke, Sir Roger Daltrey, Melinda Gates, & Rick from THAT METAL SHOW

Lightning Rod

These punk guys from Huntington Beach that make up the band The Offspring are truly poets, modern troubadours. This song, is so energetic but shows a lot of angst, hopelessness and even fear...
