Valentino, also known as Ferat Amin, is a 24-year old young man rising up. With his roots in the Middle East, a home in Sweden and a heart for music, this special artist creates a unique sound.Early on, role models such as Craig David, Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake set the foundation for the intense music interest that pervades every part of his life. The interest in music grew out early and singing eventually became a natural, everyday thing. For a long time, music had to fight the interest in football and the inner dream and promise to one day be successful. Paradoxically, the response on Valentino’s singing from his team-mates and trainers, was a very big contribution to the fact that the music started to evolve inside this eccentric talent.Who could think that sports would strengthen the music? During the teen years in upper level compulsory school, the music teacher discovered the enormous potential, meaning that he should record a demo and send it to a record label. But the demo remained incomplete and football got the upper hand that time. This obstacle only created new opportunities and new perspectives to look at music, for Valentino, who came to turn the setback around.During upper secondary school, even the classmates came to notice Valentino’s singing voice. They tried to convince him to enter different talent shows, with the purpose to raise him up. Once again football came to dominate his heart, something that changed considerably the day that he gathered courage, got up on stage and sang Santana’s “Maria Maria†in front of the whole school. Several hundred, maybe even close to thousand people got to see this young man perform. When the music became silent and Valentino’s last note had reached the audience’s ears the success was a fact. He received standing ovations and the crowd caused such a commotion that it took quite some time for them to be quiet. It seemed like they were begging to hear more. That day, the message got through and the feeling of complete happiness from standing up on stage supplied with strength.Even if sports brought some success, Valentino has already decided what his future is going to be like. The setbacks have only strengthened his focus on music and above all the singing. It is music that he lives and breathes for. His thoughts are focused on the next note, the next song and the next performance.
