"Before releasing the Singularity album under my band name mindFIELD, I had quite a few instrumental demos to choose from. I decided on 10 tracks that seemed to fit together, wrote lyrics, recorded vocals, and released them as a complete album. The tracks I didn't select I felt were either better off instrumental or didn't quite fit the feel of Singularity. However, they were by no means simply throw away tracks. So, I have created a new project under the name ionnokx in which I can showcase my instrumental material apart from mindFIELD.
My first release as ionnokx is an album in the form of a free mp3 download, which I have titled Blur Radiant. The 12 tracks that appear on the album were recorded between the years 2000 and 2002. They were originally released under the name mindFIELD at the time on various CDR demos. I have gone back, edited, and remastered each track for this release. They can be previewed in the Flash player above and downloaded individually or as an entire album in a ZIP file. Again, Blur Radiant is a completely free mp3 download coded at 192kbps. I plan to release new instrumental material soon that I am currently writing, but in the meantime, please enjoy some of my favorite early works."
