Senator Whatley

About Me

The history of Senator Whately, the musical ensemble, is one of the great stories of the Common Era. Far more than a mere survey of the acts and events surrounding two reverent troubadours, it provides us with a testament to the undying strength of the human spirit and an invaluable glimpse into the mysterious inner workings of universal consciousness and eminent cosmic intelligence.
Unfortunately, the facts surrounding this band have been indiscriminately stifled by the American Senate’s Comity on Information Stifling. The FBI, CIA, NRA and PMRC have all joined forces in destroying any evidence of this band’s existence, and in the spring of 2002, a bill was passed through Congress that made the continued life functions of Senator Whatley illegal.
Senator Whatley took a break for about 1.45 years from himself. A one time reunion show of mythic proportions was played at the Abbey on June 6th 2007. The Senator had so much fun that he decided to run for office again. Currently Senator Whaltey is in the studio recording. New recorded propaganda will be available for download or on, CD, 8 track and/or wax cylinder. A release date has not been set but look for it some time this year. The title for the CD; Requiem for Dr. Boogie; Metal Heads and Sound Guys.
