About Me

Acoustic Brew was set up to provide venues to showcase the amazing talents of unsigned artists. All our venues are free entry, and are a great place to sit back and enjoy a wide genre of music. All our shows are hosted compered and engineered by seasoned musicians with sound quality to boot, we know how important the monitor sound is so we have a dedicated monitor desk to make sure the artist enjoys the show as much as the audience. as well as our weekly venues we are very busy during the summer months with our all day outdoor shows, held in huge parks in the local area. keep an eye on the site for more details. You can catch our monthy radio slot on Bridge Fm hosted by Marc Lungley feat the very best of the talent passing through our doors.Contact Sam through the site for bookings and details.
We have 3 venues around The Midlands: Katie Fitzgeralds, Enville Street, Stourbridge. Katies has had a thriving music scene for years and is a great established venue. We run an acoustic evening every Wednesday in the upstairs bar. It has a great look and feel to the place and its full of support for all artists.
Island Bar, Suffolk Street, Birmingham. This is a fantastic modern, bohemian looking venue that is in every support of unsigned artists. We book artists every Tuesday.
And, from February 2009 we will beginning a new night at The Dog, Hagley Road West, Bearwood. This is a beautiful venue, where we will be booking acts for every Sunday (except the first of the month)
EVERY MONDAY NIGHT -
ACOUSTIC BREW OPEN MIC NIGHT
Held at Katie fitzgerald's Free Entry music starts around 8pm and we welcome all acoustic genres and spoken word. There's a snare hi hat and ride available for the acoustic drummer, these nights are really good fun and very mixed in moods and genres.
We are always on the lookout for new acts and artists so feel free to drop us a message if fancy playing. At all our venues we provide PA, vocals and monitors, so it's just the matter of turning up with your instruments!
