His passion for Northern Soul is immense!(hes a wigan casino man) Hence my love for it, i couldnt listen to anything else in my house lol. Ive grown up with it all my life. There are hundreds of songs i love and all the words have special meanings.I love alot of the instrumentals to like Tracks to your mind -Sounds of lane, Detroit Land Apples – I Need Help, The Matta Baby – Do The Pearl Girl (Pt2)and Andre Brasseur – The Kid, San Remo Strings - Im Satisfied. My dad always tells me when a song was released, who sang it and what label it was on, where and when he first heard it, hes like a computer lol, its all logged deep in his head! and hes still learning about it now. He lives and breathes it. One of his greatest moments was meeting his idols in America in Los Angeles, on the first soul trip which was organised by Kev Roberts. If it hadnt been for his love of music, that trip would never had got him on a plane, he always said il never fly, but when he knew he had the chance to meet the people who he had listened to singing all his life, who he idolised, the excitement took over his fear and he was getting on that plane :) im so glad he did, Love you so much Dad xx
