GentleFolks started I think way back 1999-2000. It started playing gigs for Irresponsible Records. It was a three-piece punk band way back then with Banie, Eboi and Marlon. It also played gigs in Struggle for Radical Action (SRA) -- a punk/hc scene. GentleFolks was included in the SRA compilations namely the "No Harmful Matter" and "Eight and Counting". GentleFolks went on hiatus for some time due to Marlon's hectic sked of his work so they had to find another drummer. So Banie came across with Errol from Lasagna Surfers and asked if he can be with the band as a bassist and Earl as a drummer from the same band of Errol. The two agreed and again GentleFolks is back. Around late 2006 GentleFolks are back on the track again with new music and sound.
