Cornerstone Collective are the four Djs: Daferwa, Markossa, Djane Jäz and fresh from Brazil Dj Rafael Baska from Cologne City. We have different cultural backgrounds; Daferwa Mexican / German, Markossa Ethiopian / German, Jäz Panamanian / German, Rafael Baska / Brazil. Our main intension is to bring different sounds and music together and therefore to connect different people. We all grew up with Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae/Dancehall but also traditional cultural music as Cumbia, Banda & Ethiopian Music, Funk do Brasil. Meanwhile we play Rap, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Reggaeton, Tropical Beats & Breakz, Baile Funk, Kuduro, Bmore Club, Uk Styles (Dubstep/ Grime), Urban African Beats (Naija, Bongo Flava, Hiplife) and Mash Up's. We host a monthly Party called MASH It UP! at the SUBWAY Club in Cologne. Name is program: Mashing up and combining different styles.
