DRM: Say NO to Digital Oppression
Get informed about DRM technology which could affect your digital rights in more ways than you might realize. DRM or "Digital Rights Management" which is present in Windows Vista, Blu-Ray discs and some digital files such as MP3 and various other audio and video formats could mean the loss of your rights of fair use as a consumer.
Breck is deeply involved in the cause and wrote a special section on his official web site. He also shot a video to express his opinion on the subject to help spread the word to every customer and artist out there:
SPECIAL NOTE:
We would just like to say that we really appreciate those who take the time to post a personalized comment on Breck's personal page. And even though we are grateful and cherish all of them, for practical reasons we have decided to deactivate the HTML option when posting a comment. The reason is that some people go overboard with huge pictures that overwhelm the page and distract too much from other features.
It's all about keeping it real and enjoyable without going too far in trying to upstage others. We like to keep a neat and clean design and some comments are too large and distracting, effectively ruining the homogeneity of the page while also adding to the downloading time.
Breck tries to update this page personally as much as possible but sometimes, someone else from the team has to step in to keep things going. This myspace page which is Breck's personal one and the other account in the music section for the whole MoonDaze Productions team are both controlled by the company.
Thank you.
