The Classics

About Me

The band started with just Brady, Marcuss, and Guts. We got the therd cuzin Greg later for a more full sound. We played in Denton at first getting gigs through friends and stuff you know how it goes. Then we got into the Dallas pubs with the help of a friend Shown Van from Font line atack. Well that whent good even though we where getting riped out of our mony. When you are a underground punk band you don't want to cell out so money really didn't matter to us. Hell I remember we got $300 bucks and we gave it back so that we would not be cell outs. Funny hu, well when you are yung and jaming out and saying fuck the main streem, stuff like that happends. There was a falling out between Marcuss and Brady, so brady left. Marcuss Greg and I wanted to keep playing, so we got this punk Ethen from hell(Denton) to play bass and Marcuss became the front man. Shortly after Greg left the band to play with Blue Flames from Austin T.X. Marcuss Ethen and I (Gus Guts) whent on to play all over T.X. San Antonio, Austin, Fort Worth and Dallas. Man that was a lot of fun. Well Marcuss left to go with The Visitors from Dallas T.X. Then later whent on to be with The Street Dags out of Bostin. Ethen went on to join Slesis Fist and the Lader day Taints from Denton. As for me I was out in the cold. Not to worry I went solo and started World Emesis my industrial music. I started this page to keep the old punk ways alive. I would like to get the Classics back together for one last run befor we die, but I can't get the lads together for one last run. I tryed this year to start a band playing the songs from the classics that I wrote, but you can't find hard mothers like the Hallar boys, my brothers for life.
