Hi. I'm Lola. This is Me is the title of my new Album. I am a performing artist from Boston. I am also a mom, and attending Roxbury Community College for Liberal Arts full-time. I was inspired by my younger brother Eb Guttah aka Brian to persue a music career when I use to watch him perform on stage at the lee School. He use to have the crowd going crazy. Girls use to try to pull him off stage. That's when I knew that showbiz was for me. I wanted to have that interaction with the crowd. I wanted to be on centerstage in the spotlight. I did my first talent show at seven years old at a fund raiser for my mom. I got such a good response that it made me want more. My proffessional career started at sixteen. I was in a three girl singing group called "The Divas" for two years. Then I joined a band called" The Midnight Crew", which performed Old School classics. We opened up for groups such as The stylistics, Blue Magic, Ray Goodman and Brown, and Confunction at various venues such as Berklee College, The Strand Theater, The Italian Festival, and Symphony Hall. After the group split up I began working with local acts in Boston. I am currently working with a band called Richie Rich and the 24Kt Funk, and recording an album with the Funky Bunch.
